Gen Art SF Film Programs seek to introduce emerging filmmakers and their work to general audiences, especially those made up of their peers, as well as industry representatives. Programs include screenings of short and feature films, panel discussions, such as those addressing the economic and aesthetic shifts currently affecting the creation, presentation and distribution of film, and professional development workshops at which speakers from all areas of the film industry provide insights and answer questions.
